This past weekend we drove the girls down to Los Angeles for Reilly's soccer tournament. Her team is a U9 all girls team called The Gunners. They are a pretty young team with several 7 year olds (Reilly included). They played 4 games and lost all of them. The L.A. teams are so much better than the Bakersfield teams. On the bright side we think that it's great to expose the girls to higher skilled teams so that they can continue to improve.

Game 2... notice Rei is the goalie. She's wearing her white uniform, white socks, and a yellow penny. Her mom left her blue jersey at the hotel to "air out" so Rei played goalie the whole game. Oh well, it was a learning experience for both Rei and her mom.
